It's A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood....

I had to do some errands (like the drive clean - boring)and then Jacob and I thought we would go on a hike and feed the birds. Well, the sun was shinning and the birds were chirping...it was so peaceful. Jacob stood there for about an hour straight holding his hand out to feed the birds...well, they were so friendly today, he had many birds eating from his hand non-stop - even a beautiful wood pecker...Jacob did get a little scared when a pigeon decided to come for a visit. Jacob said "mom, he is not landing on me"..I had to laugh! All in all a great day! I had a hard time deciding what pictures to add so I added a whole bunch..I still have so many more - it was so much fun!

It was a gorgeous day today!!!

Have a great day!

Family is where your story begins!!!

Birthday flowers from my Mom - thanks Mom!

My family (Mom, Dad, Sister and her husband) bought me a very cool set of Actions to run in Photoshop - yippee, I can't wait to play with them! Thanks so much everyone!!!

Spring is on it's way - YEAH!!!

Ryan's Mom & Dad gave me some money for my birthday and I found this beautiful candle holder, so I bought it! I was hesitant at first cuz it cost more money then I would normally spend. The ladies at the store would say "you can return it if it does not match"...the problem was I knew it was going to match, I was just hesitant because of the cost! Well, I thought I would take a picture so I could show mom and dad what I found. I do love it. When the candle is lite the stain glass leaves just sparkle!!!

Cold Hands, Warm Hearts!

Ice, Ice, Baby!!

Melting - Just Melting!

I am just melting...I had so much fun shooting little "L's" 10th birthday party! She had around "30" of her girlfriends - they were running around at a playplace dressing up with boa's, hats and jewelry...you know, the things girls do best...LOL! Well, these girls loved getting there picture taken and they really made my heart melt!

Now, this "little beauty" was a sibling to one of the girls and OMG, I couldn't leave him out...I brought this mirror for the girls and when I saw him sitting in front of it, discovering the world, I couldn't miss a perfect picture opportunity...I am melting again!

In this photo, the little cutie patootie was just crawling around in the play centre, minding his own business "having fun" so, I just sat and snapped the camera as he moved...simply beautiful! Capturing kids being kids is soooo much fun!

2nd Time Skiing

Look, Look, it's Jacob out skiing...Connor is off skiing on the big hills!!!
OMG...can you believe it, it's Jacob, he just turned 6 but he did a fabulous job!!! I had tears in my eyes watching him fly down the hill because he just ROCKS...and there were a few rolls...he!he!he! As you can see from the first photo, I think Jacob was a wee bit nervous..he was quiet the whole drive to the ski resort...and anyone who know Jacob knows that he is not usually very quiet. He was watching all the skiers skiing down the hill..he was exciting but alittle hesitant!

This was Jacob's first T-Bar ride up the mountain...he did an awesome Job...held on and went straight to the top!

people were falling all over the place and Jacob (who is 6) was dodging them left, right and centre...woo hoo - go Jacob go!

Jacob did not need to stop to have a drink as everytime he was waiting in line he would eat the snow...his home made "snow cone"...children will be children!

he was not hesitant for long..once he started, there was no stopping him...people were asking me how long I have been bringing him skiing and I said "today is his first day"...I don't think they believed me..but it's true...one talented little man and one proud mommy!

Now let's not leave Connor out as it was his school trip! I just thought I would bring Jacob along for the adventure!!! This was Connor until he disappeared on the very large hills...my heart was palpitating - ahhhhhhhhhhhh...my babies are growing up!

There goes my baby (in green) up the gigantic lift...OMG!

Here is Connor going up the hill on the ski lift...just a little person going up a huge hill - ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Connor said "mommy, it was a life altering experience"...what a cutie patootie...he also said "when I was at the top of the hill and looked down, I said to myself...dodge the people, dodge the people"...I was laughing so hard...Connor is generally pretty quiet and doesn't tell you a lot of detail so it was neat to hear his thoughts...
